WHY WE ARE HERE

 ROBERT'S STORY

Our patient, Robert, left his earthly home on Wednesday, September 14 after battling cancer.  Robert's wish for the last several months of his life was to tell others about the free clinic and the care they too could receive.  It was important to him that he leave that legacy of advocacy for the Clinic.

Just a couple of months before his death, he talked with the Free Lance Star.  Below is a link to his story, followed by a link to the story that ran right after his death.

Please consider donating to our Clinic. We provide free medical, dental, emotional, and spiritual care to those who need it the most in Orange, Spotsylvania, and Culpeper counties.  In 2021, we have seen hundreds of patients, prescribed over $300,000 in free medications, referred for critical diagnoses, provided counseling to many patients, and opened our dental clinic.

We are staffed by dedicated and skilled volunteer doctors, providers, nurses, dentists, dental hygeniests and assistants, counselors, chaplains, and administrative staff who provide the best care to our patients. The Living Water Community Clinic is able to take care of patients in our community because of the generosity of individuals, businesses, organizations, churches, and grants.  We are a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax deductible.  We thank all of those who have supported the Clinic and continue to support us.

Here's what other patients are saying:

“I love this clinic; the people are so nice,” said Lorena, who lives in Locust Grove and works at one of the restaurants in the shopping center.

She was wearing a brace on each knee the Saturday she came to the dental clinic for a filling. She said she doesn’t have money for medical bills and doesn’t know what she would do without Living Water.

Darlene was in the same boat. Asked where she would be without the clinic, after she had two fillings done, she replied simply: “In pain. They’ve been a blessing, not only with dental but also medical.”
